Review: Late last week, I grabbed a box of Gorton's Original Batter Fish Tenders after seeing a recipe for fish tacos near the grocer's freezer.  Most of my readers know that I help my disabled mother take care of my father who has dementia and many other health problems so I regularly cook for the entire family. My father had to go to the hospital this week so it was more chaotic than usual. I was glad to have a convenient meal starter on hand to cook and serve my family. 

 I didn't make the fish tacos but I did cook the tenders mid week. I rarely eat frozen seafood due to the rectangle fish sticks I remember eating as a child.  Gorton's Fish Tenders - Original Batter are nothing like the ones from my childhood. They were delicious and I actually had seconds. My daughter loved them too, as did my parents. They were done in well under 20 minutes and I had time to make a salad and a quick veggie on the side while the tenders were cooking. They are the perfect size for dipping - my daughter used ketchup, my father tried tartar sauce, my mother and I had them plain. They were crisp and yummy and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a convenient, quick, affordable meal. They are a GREAT alternative to chicken nuggets! Gorton's also has a large selection of grilled products which I look forward to trying in the near future!
