Weight Loss Motivation at Nutrisystem + I'm a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger!

A while back, I was selected as a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger! While I haven't received my food yet, I am anxiously awaiting the package so I can get started on my weight loss goals. My problem when trying to lose weight has always been lack of will power. I love desserts! Thankfully, Nutrisystem gives you a great selection desserts and snacks for every day. However, you learn to control your portions with their plan. I love that you can just go to the freezer or pantry and pull out your meal without having to think about prep work or how long it's going to take to cook! The meals couldn't be more convenient and while I haven't been able to try them out, I've read reviews and heard that they are delicious -especially the new frozen foods and other new selections! Check out this inspiring story from Nutrisystem.com and head over there for more inspiration today!

Motivated moms

I had just turned 30 and had just had my second child. At the time, my mom and I both found ourselves unhappy with our weight. I'd done Nutrisystem after having my first child in April of 2006, and was successful losing the baby weight. I loved it then, and knew it would work again, so I recruited my mom to join me on Nutrisystem this time around!

"It's not really a diet...it's a lifestyle change."

And it worked again for me, for a few reasons. First, the food is real food, and it's good (although the food is 10 times better this time around!)—so you're not torturing yourself through the weight loss process. Also, this is—by far—the most convenient diet I have ever seen or tried. It's a no-brainer: no refrigeration, no measuring, no complicated preparation or flavorless food. Most important, it's not really a diet! It's a program that teaches you about the right kinds of food to eat, how to get more fiber, cut sugar, lower calories, and so on, and about portion control. I like to think of it as more of a lifestyle change.

"I'm so happy, and I feel good in my body."

My results were real and steady; I lost a few pounds every week consistently until I hit my goal weight. In all, I've lost 42 lbs. and am now maintaining a size 2/4.* I'm so happy, and I feel good in my body. I love to shop for clothes, too; in the morning I dress myself in what I like without being concerned if it will make me look fat. Also, I never thought I would run, but now I am training for my 1st half-marathon and I'm so excited about it! So, overall this was a great journey and having my mother with me made it fun. We are both so thankful to Nutrisystem for making us feel great about ourselves.
