Free by Mail: Kids Activity Books "Create Less Waste" & "Carl Gets Some Rest"


Here are two more great activity books that help teach your children about protecting the environment(details on how to order the books is listed after the descriptions):
"Carl Gets Some Rest" is a story and coloring book for children from preschool to second grade. It teaches kids about the effects of air pollution and explains why it's important to use your vehicle less by combining trips or using alternative transportation methods since vehicles are one of the main causes of air pollution. 
"Create Less Waste in the First Place" is a coloring and story book that helps children understand the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling. This book also provides ideas on how kids can reuse items and suggests that they look around their house or school for things that can be reused or recycled instead of trashed. 

How to get "Carl Gets Some Rest" activity book by mail:
1. Go to the EPA's Simple Search page
2. Enter 420K03001 in the box then click search
3. Click the box next to the 2nd book that is listed (it's the one that has the year and number of pages listed)
4. After you check the box next the item, click Add To My Collection
To order Create Less Waste in the First Place for free by mail:
1. Go to the EPA Simple Search
2. Enter 530K99006  530K99006 
3. Simply repeat the steps 3 & 4 from above
4. Click Show Order Form (you may have to check the boxes by the items - if so it will prompt you to select the books you want)
