Comfort Cross Giveaway - 2 Winners ends 3/25

My Comfort Cross
"Comfort Crosses are individually carved from a single unique piece of beautifully grained olive wood pruned from the olive trees around Bethlehem the birthplace of Jesus. The Comfort Cross is designed to fit comfortably into the palm of your hand as an aid to prayer or meditation. Ideal as your spiritual companion for easing children's fears, comforting worries and stresses of adults and focusing the prayer of the sick and elderly."

Review: The Cross I received is beautiful - I love the smooth, cool surface and the wood grain is lovely. Each one comes packaged in a beautiful velveteen pouch with a card that tells about the Comfort Cross. It fits perfectly in your handbag, diaper bag, book bags, etc. I added the Comfort Cross Giveaway to the Busy Mommy Must Haves Event because it is fantastic for those moments of stress and chaos, when you feel like you are about to lose it. The Comfort Cross is a great reminder that you aren't alone. Hold your Cross and take a few minutes to pray or meditate, calm down and regroup.
The Comfort Cross is the PERFECT gift for Easter. What better way to remind or teach children about the real reason we celebrate Easter than by adding a beautiful Comfort Cross to their basket. They are also ideal gifts for new or expecting mothers and fathers, service men and women and their families, those facing illness and family members of those who are ill, or someone who is grieving the loss of a loved one. I also discovered that they are a great way to calm your worried children and take their mind off of what is upsetting them: my daughter was sick this week so she had to go see her doctor. She was terrified because last time she had to get 4 shots. I told her to hold the Comfort Cross and say prayers. It really helped to calm her and ease her fears.

This was taken on the day she was diagnosed with strep throat -she kept the Comfort Cross with her that night.

I received my Comfort Cross over a week ago and since then, several people have asked me where I got it and how they can get one. I actually ended up letting my mom keep mine a few days ago because she is under an incredible amount of stress with my dad's illness and her own poor health. She said that it has helped her to calm down and also helped her to focus more when she is praying. I normally have a really hard time getting my daughter to focus when saying her prayers so I just ordered a Comfort Cross just for her and I also ordered one for myself since my mom now has mine. There is a special for Divalicious Deals readers on Comfort Cross 2 packs for a limited time (2 for $12 Shipped) so it's the perfect time to purchase a couple for yourself and for gifts. My aunt is actually ordering at least one of the packs of 10 Comfort Crosses to give out to her friends and family. They really are a fantastic gift - who couldn't use some comfort and assurance at one time or another?

About My Comfort Cross and Their Mission:

My Comfort Cross provides beautiful, natural reminders of Jesus Christ while helping to support the Christian Artisans in Bethlehem. Olive wood crosses like this one have been carved for hundreds of years, originally for pilgrims and more recently tourists visiting the Holy Land. With the decline in Bethlehem tourism, Christian Artisans are struggling.  My Comfort Cross aims to support them by providing a market for olive wood crosses direct to Christians in America. Each craftsman receives a fair price to support their family and Christian community. You can learn more about the Olive Tree, Bethlehem Craftsmen and the history of olive wood crosses here.
