As I've mentioned before, I have been making an effort to live a more Eco friendly lifestyle and improve my overall quality of life. The three big things that I really need to work on are simplifying, organizing and prioritizing. My family and I live in an extremely small house that has no closets. While creating a peaceful, functional and uncluttered environment in a house this tiny may be difficult, it can be done with a bit of determination, the right furniture and a little creativity. The most important change for me was to replace oversized furniture, outdated furniture with smaller, streamlined pieces. Remove bulky entertainment centers and replace them with a sleek unit like the one pictured below. Wall mounts are another option but with dvd players and game systems, they just aren't as functional for me as  LCD TV stands.  

When you replace your large furniture with smaller pieces, you not only free up valuable space but you'll have less dusting and cleaning work and the added bonus of having a more attractive living area. Organizing  your home will not only give you more room, it also saves you time and energy. When I have everything in its place, I don't waste time searching for phone chargers, books or socks. 

There are so many items from CSN that I have on my wish list. To create the home and Eco friendly lifestyle I'm dreaming of, I'd love a Compost Wizard Jr, a great organizer for my makeshift office (like the one pictured above)and - most of all - a fantastic loft bed with dresser and desk, just like the one on the left, for my daughter's room.

I also know for a fact that grandmothers will love it - I shared a few stories with my mom (who is a grandmother) and she enjoyed them so much that she is now reading the entire book. 

This collection of 101 inspirational stories is about the joys and wonders of the miracle that is motherhood.  It covers everything from infertility to pregnancy, adoption to surrogacy, breastfeeding to sleep deprivation and many other topics. It is great for busy moms because the stories are short so you can take a few minutes to read one or two then come back later and read a few more. I could identify with most of the stories and they brought back some great memories from pregnancy, nursing, baby's first haircut, unwanted advice and many other experiences. I especially loved the story about the 'Sloppy Mommy'- it was one that I really identified with. The mom, in her pre-baby days, loved dressing the in most stylish fashions on a daily basis. After realizing that she was living in a tshirt and jeans, she decided that she wanted to stop looking like a slob. She went to Target and got a few new clothes. It was her birthday so they went out to eat and of course her toddler smeared cheese all over the new sweater. The mom was upset and she resigned herself to a life of stained tees and sweats. She realized that the part of her life where she was a cute, trendy young woman was gone and she felt saddened. But right then, her daughter called out mommy - when the mom looked over, the little girl said "hey mommy", while grinning the most gorgeous smile. Instead of remembering the night her daughter ruined her new clothes, she remembered the night that her child was happy just to be sitting next to mommy. Awwwwe. I can totally relate!This would be a wonderful book if you know anyone who is adopting or pregnant with their first child or even their fifteenth child! It is really great for new moms since it helps you to realize that you aren't the only one struggling with some of the worries, insescurities and difficulties that come with being a mother - like post partum depression for example. The sports bras I've owned flattened my my chest and they were so confining that they created a uni-boob. You will NOT have that problem with the Coobie. It also eliminates the dreaded "back bulge" or back fat that you get from most bras. You are in NO danger of having a roll or bulge over the sides, back or cups with the Coobie bra.  I was skeptical about the claim that the Coobie  could fit such a wide range of bra sizes and when I saw the bra, I thought that it probably would not fit me but it was a perfect fit. I did a little investigating by reading other Coobie reviews and women in a range of sizes from 34a to 36D all  said that the Coobie fit them perfectly. If you are pregnant or you're dieting, the Coobie is a great bra because it doesn't have to be replaced if you go up or down a size. I wish that I'd had one while I was nursing also! Since the pads are removable, I tried wearing my bra both ways and decided to leave the pads out. I've worn my bra under t shirts, cardigan, a button up and it looked great under everything. I actually have a problem with some shirts coming unbuttoned occasionally and I love that if that happens when I have on a Coobie, it won't be as embarrassing as it usually is because the Coobie looks like a cami when it's peeking out of the top of shirts or sweaters.  I was really impressed with the super fast shipping too- I received my bra only two days after I sent in my information!
